Treatment of cardiovascular diseases

Cardiovascular diseases are one of the most common civilization diseases of today. According to the data, the deaths caused by them account for almost half of all recent deaths in Poland. Of course, this ratio may change all the time, but one thing is certain: cardiovascular diseases are still one of the most common causes of death in our country.

A sick heart

Diseases of the circulatory system arise as a result of the impairment of such important organs as the heart or blood vessels, which are responsible for a number of key functions in our body.

The disability can be congenital, as a result of genetically inherited from our relatives health defects, but also acquired.

A disease independent of us

Treatment of innate cardiovascular diseases is primarily the fastest possible detection of them by a doctor and properly selected pharmacological prophylaxis or taking care of oneself.

Detection of the disease in its early stages gives a few dozen percent more chances that it will not develop to the degree when surgery is required or there is simply no more rescue.

This should be a clear signal to those who have had and still have among their closest relatives heart and cardiovascular diseases that they are themselves in a so-called high-risk group. Frequent check-ups with a cardiologist and listening to one's own body are something they cannot neglect.

Pharmacological treatment

A doctor who is familiar with the results of the patient's examination will assign him/her medication corresponding to the patient's condition. These are usually agents for blood clotting, sealing the walls of blood vessels, removing heaps of calcium or fats clogging the light of veins and arteries, or other. Cardiovascular diseases are a growing list of diseases that often require complex and expensive pharmacological therapy.

Taking care of yourself

Treatment of cardiovascular diseases is also, to a large extent, a change of lifestyle. The patient requires peace, stability, appropriate material and living conditions and a balanced diet, approved by the attending physician.

Acquired disease

The way of life, when we are sick, is, of course, of considerable importance in the proper treatment. However, it is equally important to simply avoid treatment.

Cardiovascular diseases are not only a legacy of our ancestors. In today's world, stress, ubiquitous rush for material goods, inadequate nutrition, rich in fats and carbohydrates, as well as lack of exercise can cause us to fall ill.

As in congenital diseases, it is important that they are detected.

It's the time that counts.

The sooner the better. So if you notice worrying symptoms, such as problems with breathing, lack of strength and energy, heart palpitations, consult a cardiologist who will send us for necessary tests and recommend further treatment.

As in congenital diseases, pharmacology is the basis for treatment, often with the necessary surgery. The sooner the disease is detected, the less surgery is needed, but there are cases where pharmacological treatment no longer produces the required results.

Before it's too late.

Treatment of cardiovascular diseases is a long, time-consuming process, very often it is necessary for the rest of life. On the other hand, treatment or even surgery does not guarantee a full recovery. Therefore, it is worth taking care of a proper and healthy lifestyle in advance.
